Being one of the busiest developers at the moment, there is no sentence that seems more appropriate to explain Team Ninja’s activities under the banner of Koei Tecmo over the past few years. How come? This studio can be considered routinely releasing the latest games with several that have been prepared and announced beforehand. After Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, which has a stronger association with Microsoft, Team Ninja is also developing Rise of the Ronin which was announced for Playstation 5. For this last title, the release seems to be fulfilling the previous target.
This was revealed by Team Ninja’s boss – Fumihiko Yasuda in his latest interview with Famitsu. He openly stated that Team Ninja has been developing Rise of the Ronin for the last 7 years and it will still launch in 2024 as previously announced. Interesting again? Team Ninja also admits that they have one game to release in 2023 that they haven’t announced publicly. Yasuda said that it is indeed an ambition for Team Ninja to release at least one new game every year.
Rise of the Ronin itself is planned to be released for Playstation 5 as a “console exclusive” in 2024. How about you? Are you looking forward to this series?
