Exactly, but I don’t want to speak too much for the girls when it comes to health. But I know how it is treated and it has been for a long time. We’ll see, they should be flying next week. And maybe he will fly away.

The first thing is if the girls fly away. Of course I’m nervous, there are some other options. Logically, now they have to solve the Tournament of Champions to be competitive in it. This is no small event. But I believe that even if they haven’t recorded, they have a great form this year and they should have a few days of training in Mexico. There is so much talent in them that they could do it with honor.

At first glance, the Czech team looks ultra strong, but according to your description, everything will be much more complicated, right?

The team is great, I’m very happy for that. I appreciate the fact that the girls are doing their best despite the busy schedule, but we are playing against the Swiss already on Tuesday… That is another matter.

Are you counting on a replacement just to be sure?

Yes, I spoke to Maruška Bouzková, she should be ready. He is still playing a tournament in China, but we talked two days ago. I understand that this possibility may arise.

It’s hard for everyone. The Swiss have beaten us twice and it would be nice to start with a strong line-up because they play very well in these team games. Golubicová is getting off to a classic start again. Although America is reported to be without Gauff and Pegula, its players will be rested led by Keys, they also have a very strong doubles team. That’s pretty much a hit and miss. We have to give ourselves a chance against Switzerland on Tuesday, so that the girls will play the USA on Friday for advancement.

There is also a crisis option if your complete team would last in Cancún until Sunday’s conclusion. On Monday, the players would spend on the road and on Tuesday they would have to go to important matches.

But that would mean they play well in Mexico. But the truth is that the transition will be difficult anyway. Different surface, different balls. Then also the time shift, it’s very demanding. I will choose from those who will be able to board. The more options, the better.
