“Now the focus will be on team building, that was my first thought at the end of the season. The team captain will be Andreas Nilsson, and we will continue to do it together, as we started with Rasmus Laugé. We are building a new team with the new arrivals and, of course, a new system for the new team” – He told Momir Ilics on the website of Telekom Veszprém, adding that László Nagy, Zoltán Csík and Péter Gulyás thought a lot about the future to whom to make an offer. The head coach of Veszprém also mentioned some of the departures, and among other things, highlighted the excellent season runner Manul Strleket and Ilic Zorant, who used the opportunity they gave him.
“We saw the path he took from the beginning of the year to the championship final, and the results of this really showed in the final. Of course, it wasn’t so easy for me, it was particularly nerve-wracking in February. But still, I think soif you vote someone’s trust, they will somehow live with it and that’s what I got back from Zoran, the great performance in the final” – he said about the 21-year-old right winger of the Hungarian national team, who will be a player for Hamburg in the Bundesliga starting next season.
