The official noted that in addition to increasing salaries by 9% by the end of this year, in December each teacher will have the opportunity to earn another 20% to the salary.
For this, teachers will need to be certified.
The number of teachers who applied for it in 2021 has doubled compared to last year – about 1,800 and 900 applications, respectively.
“Of course, there are not so many of them, but every year the number of applicants is growing. But you yourself can increase your salary by 20%, this is a good amount,” said Shkarlet.
The official added that various refresher courses have also been developed for teachers.
We are talking, for example, about public organizations, where training took place in the EU. For this in Ukraine, budgetary 400 million hryvnias were allocated.
We will remind, in Ukraine in January, teachers’ salaries were increased by 20% and the salary of a teacher without the category of a secondary education institution increased by 809 hryvnia – up to 4859 hryvnia. The salaries of teachers of the highest category increased by 1,076 hryvnia – up to 6,461 hryvnia.
