This day 500 Tamaulipas teachers were vaccinated against covid-19 although they already had the dose of Cansino. The process was carried out at the invitation of the government of Nuevo Laredo so that they and other people who do not have a biological one of those authorized by the United States, can cross the border if they seek to do so now that the reopening of border bridges.
The Nuevo Laredo government reported that this Saturday 500 teachers were vaccinated that were previously registered in the call.
And it is that a few days ago, the mayor of Nuevo Laredo, Carmen Lilia Canturosas made a call to those teachers that received the Cansino Biologics vaccine, to register to receive any of the marks allowed to cross the border, either Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer o Moderna.
The vaccines were donated by Dr. Víctor Treviño who lives in Laredo, Texas in the United States and the government of Nuevo Laredo supports the logistics so that at the Colombian border bridge in Anáhuac, Nuevo León, vaccines against covid- 19.
They announced that at the moment the registrations are suspended and they ask the public to be attentive to the next call. Those who are already signed up, will be called in the following days.
“It will be contacting people already registered to go to the vaccination.”

Faced with this situation, the leader of section 30 of the SNTE in Tamaulipas, Rigoberto Guevara, asked that teachers be given a public apology as they are treating them as criminals And it is not the way to tell them that they cannot get a second vaccine.
