Everyone wants to do something meaningful, something substantive, something meaningful. Yet there are still too few teachers in the Netherlands. And while as a teacher you really mean something to someone else, you can motivate a new generation, you can develop and pass on your knowledge, you are a role model. It is precisely in the work that you do that you can make a difference. If you choose. So don’t just do something, do something that matters. Obtain a teaching certificate for secondary education during your bachelor’s degree. At Maastricht University we train you to become the teacher you want to be.
