After the demonstration of January 30, a new gathering is planned in front of the town hall of Givors this Wednesday at 2 p.m. This mobilization follows a call from the “Lucie-Aubrac collective” to demand that the entire Givors area be switched to REP +. A label that would allow establishments to have more resources.
Since January 25, two teachers from the Lucie-aubrac college have started a hunger strike to make this demand.
Delegations received by the mayor and the Inspector of National Education
A delegation of school teachers must be received in the morning by the Inspector of National Education of the local constituency as well as the academic director of the national education services (Dasen).

Then a second delegation must meet with the mayor, at 2:30 p.m., to ask for the support of the municipality in their request. The five school groups from Plaines and Vernes (Romain-Rolland, Jacques-Duclos, Louise-Michel, Picard-Liauthaud and Joliot-Curie) will be represented during the regrouping as well as the Lucie-Aubrac and Paul-Vallon colleges.
