It was in the presence of representatives of theEducation Nationale, the mayors of Sainte-Gauburge, Planches, Échauffour, and deputy mayor of Saint-Pierre-des-Loges, elected representatives of the Community of municipalities of the Valleys of Auge and Merlerault (Cdc Vam), that Vincent Auber, director of the school of the Risle valley (Orne) since 2008, has been promoted knight of the academic palms.
Philippe Castaing, president of Association of members of the order of academic palms (Amopa), opened the meeting after Janine Barbey, Secretary General, welcomed the audience. The president recalled the origin of the distinction of academic palms.
“This order rewards the personnel of National Education (civil servants and State agents belonging to a teaching, administrative or inspection body) and people who have rendered important services for the activities of this department. It also rewards eminent personalities who have made an exceptional contribution to the enrichment of cultural heritage. “
Diploma and medal
Peggy Lemoine, educational advisor to the Inspector of National Education, awarded the diploma to Vincent Auber, after retracing his career : entered the national education system in 2001 as a trainee school teacher in Alençon, then a school teacher in Saint-Ouen-sur-Iton and at the Victor-Hugo school until 2008 when he took up the management of the Risle valley school in Sainte-Gauburge.
Vincent Auber brings together the quality management skills of his team, in collaboration with the community of municipalities and the association of parents of pupils, very invested in the academic success of all.
Michel Latouche, godfather, commented on his meeting with Vincent Auber before pinning him the distinction of knight of academic palms. “We met in sea class then in snow class in Saint-Sorlin-D’Arves. So much work, until late at night. A feat achieved with the school, to take all the classes to Puy-du-Fou. ”
