Teacher Susan is Paralyzed After Covid-19 Vaccination, the KIPI Committee conducts an investigation

BANDUNG, KOMPAS.TV – The Regional Committee for Post-Immunization Associations (KIPI) in West Java is now investigating the issue of teachers in Sukabumi who are paralyzed and have visual impairments after the second injection of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Hasan Sadikin Hospital in Bandung said that Guru Susan is currently in a recovery period.

RSHS Bandung explained that Susan had been treated with complaints of weakness in the four limbs starting April 1 and underwent treatment for 24 days.

“The patient’s condition when he returned home was in a state of improvement. The patient even had time to come back for control to the Hasan Sadikin motor neurology clinic, currently the patient is in a period of repair or recovery,” said Zulvayanti, RSHS Medical Services Coordinator.

To find out the relationship between the paralysis symptoms experienced by the honorary teacher from Sukabumi with the Covid-19 vaccination.

Komda KIPI West Java is currently still conducting studies to be reported to Komnas KIPI.

Furthermore, if the results of the Komnas KIPI assessment will be known whether this incident is related to the Covid-19 vaccination given or not.
