TCR South America’s inaugural season is nearing completion, but work continues in parallel to continue the growth of the category in the coming year.
In addition to the incorporation of new car manufacturers such as Peugeot and Toyota and the expectation of continuing to increase the grid with more models from Honda, Lynk & Co, Audi and Hyundai, the South American championship begins to lay out the calendar for 2022.
As the first date in history, successfully held at the emblematic Interlagos circuit, the first three rounds of the TCR South America on Brazilian soil next year will be shared with the renowned Truck Cup.
As in the inaugural season, the 2022 championship is expected to maintain its design with sprint and endurance races. It will also continue to have the drivers’ championship, the team championship and the Trophy Cup, exclusively for pilots who are more novice in the specialty.
