TCL announces 99 euro Alcatel 1SE smartphone – Tablets and phones – News

TCL has announced the Alcatel 1SE smartphone. That should follow the Alcatel 1S from last year. The Android phone has a 4000mAh battery and has two cameras and a depth sensor on the back of the case.

The 1SE has an LCD of 14.3×6.8cm with a surface of 97 square centimeters, a diagonal of 6.22 “and a resolution of 1520×720 pixels with a ratio of 19: 9. The 1SE runs on a Unisoc SC9863A, a 28nm soc with eight Cortex A55 cores at up to 1.6GHz with an Imagination PowerVR8322 gpu. TCL adds 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

The device has a fingerprint scanner on the back. There are also three camera lenses on the back; a primary 13-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel camera with ultra-wide angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 5-megapixel front camera on the front.

The device has a 4000mAh battery and runs on Android 10. The manufacturer promises security updates for two years. The phone will be in stores for 99 euros. TCL is a licensee of the Alcatel brand name and the Chinese manufacturer will release at least up to 2024 phones under that brand name. From next year, TCL will also release telephones in the Netherlands under its own name.
