The negotiators expressed their readiness to abide by the agreement to strengthen the ceasefire.
The Trilateral Contact Group on Wednesday, December 22, agreed to return to the ceasefire in Donbas.
“At today’s meeting of the TCG with the participation of CADLO representatives, priority was given to security issues and, in particular, compliance with the ceasefire. I was glad that the participants expressed their determination to fully comply with the agreement on strengthening the ceasefire of July 22, 2020,” stated OSCE Representative Mikko Kinnunen.
The agreement was also supported by the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine pledge about their position to consistently and rigorously observe the ceasefire provided for by the above measures, including regarding the conditions for opening fire in response,” stated in the Ministry of Defense.
We will remind that earlier President Volodymyr Zelensky called formats of negotiations on Donbass… France is in favor of preserving the Normandy, but Ukraine is now also attracting Scholz and Biden, Zelensky explained.
The court helped. The Russian Federation recognized the presence of its army in the Donbass
