The partners of the Kamouraska Seniors Roundtable (TCAK), concerned about the quality of life of seniors, join forces to work on collective actions taking into account the organizations and associations working throughout the territory. .
Work has resumed since last January to update the action plan left in abeyance since the start of the pandemic.
In existence for a little over ten years, the TCAK brings together partners from different sectors of activity committed to contributing and promoting the health and well-being of seniors within the community. To do this, the members have set themselves the objective of having a place of exchange, information, consultation and mobilization while promoting links with existing and future actions in the territory.
PLAN D’ACTION 2021-2024
The updating and implementation of the action plan are the fruit of an important need to highlight the contributions of the elderly in all spheres of socio-economic, cultural and community life.
This plan is broken down into several orientations, including creating a charity charter, an animation day as well as a Seniors Kamouraska event for the entire population, supporting and promoting the initiatives of partners such as Viactive, promoting all intergenerational activities in the community while being concerned as much with the physical health as with the mental health of the elderly. With this in mind, the TCAK will promote the activities of the World Day against elder abuse on June 15 via the social networks of its members.
