TC Indonesia U-18 National Team will enter the third stage this week.
INDOSPORT.COM – PSSI continues training camp Indonesia U-18 national team third stage. In this stage, coach Shin Tae-yong called back 36 players.
The third stage of the training camp (TC) which will start from Monday 13 to 18 September 2021. TC is PSSI’s preparation program to prepare the team ahead of the U-20 World Cup in 2023.
To note, the first stage has taken place from 29 August to 3 September 2021 with 36 players, then continued to the second stage which took place from 6 to 10 September 2021, also with 36 players called up.
Coach Shin Tae-yong called a total of 36 names of players to take part in this third stage of TC. There are many previously known players such as Ferre Murrari, Adre Arido, Muhammad Faiz and also Hokky Caraka.
In addition, there is one name, namely Hugo Samir, who is known to be the son of Persipura Jayapura coach, Jacksen F. Tiago.
“WL we have completed TC U-18 National Team the first and second stages well. After that, starting today, the third stage of TC will continue until September 11. I hope the players will show their best game and always work hard during TC,” said PSSI General Chair Mochamad Iriawan.
Meanwhile, coach Shin Tae-yong appreciated the players in the first and second stages of TC. He said the players had good spirit and fighting power for the hope of getting a place in the U-18 national team.
“I hope that the players in the third stage of the U-18 National Team TC can show their abilities to the maximum. So far, I’ve seen a lot of good talent. But keep in mind, players must have good posture, physically and mentally,” said Shin Tae-yong.
