Those who were unable to get tickets for The Eras Tour by Taylor Swift, will get the chance to see the show on the big screen. A concert recording can be seen in Pathé cinemas for four weekends from October 13.
The concert film was initially announced only for the United States, but is now being released worldwide. The film can only be seen from Thursday to Sunday. Swift can be heard in Dutch cinemas for the last time on November 2.
Ticket sales started on Tuesday afternoon. To celebrate the arrival of the film in the Netherlands, Pathé Arena in Amsterdam will be renamed the ‘Taylor Swift Theater’ on October 13. That evening, only the concert film will be shown in all halls of Pathé Arena.
Swift will be in the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam for three evenings in the summer of 2024 with her tour. These concerts were sold out immediately. The cinema recording was recorded in Los Angeles, where Swift recently concluded the American leg of her tour. She can be seen in Brazil later this year. The singer will tour in Europe from May.
Presales of the concert film also caused a rush for tickets in the US. Major studios have moved their film releases to mid-October, because they suspect that their films would otherwise suffer from Swift’s popularity.
