Taylor Swift’s International Tour Leaves Out Canada: Canadian Prime Minister Challenges Singer on Twitter

While American singer Taylor Swift added 14 additional dates to her tour on Wednesday ErasPrime Minister Justin Trudeau challenged the star on Twitter to invite him to come to Canada.

There are still no Canadian stops scheduled for this international tour which will take her to Mexico, Europe, Asia and Australia over the next year.

Justin Trudeau responded to a post by the artist by paraphrasing the lyrics of his song Anti-Hero : It’s me, hi. (It’s me. Hi.) I know there are places in Canada that would love to welcome you. So don’t give us another cruel summer. We hope to see you soon.

At the end of June, the absence of concerts from the tour Eras in Canada had been noticed all the way to the House of Commons, when Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux said he would file an “official” complaint on behalf of “all the Swifties” (Taylor Swift fans) in the country.
