Apple Music and Spotify published on November 28 and 29 the list of the most listened to artists and titles on their respective platforms. American singer Taylor Swift comes first, followed by Miley Cyrus, SZA and Harry Styles.
The end of the year is approaching and with it the time for retrospective rankings of all kinds. Apple Music and Spotify revealed on November 28 and 29 the playlists of the most played titles on their platforms until October 31.
Like Apple Music, Spotify confirmed that Taylor Swift was the most listened to global artist in 2023 (26.1 billion streams on Spotify).

In terms of song of the year, it’s Miley Cyrus, another queen of pop, who holds the top spot with now more than 1.6 billion streams for her track “Flowers” which broke all records.

Second and third places on the chart are occupied by SZA’s “Kill Bill” and Harry Styles’ “As It Was.”
The most listened to album of the year is “Un Verano Sin Ti” by Bad Bunny, for the second year in a row, with more than 4.5 billion streams, followed by “Midnights” by Taylor Swift. SZA is in third place with “SOS.”
Taylor Swift only in sixth position at Apple Music
On the Apple Music side, American singer Morgan Wallen with her song “Last Night” topped the rankings. While Miley Cyrus and her “Flowers” climb to the second step of the podium, followed by SZA with “Kill Bill”. Despite all her other records this year, Taylor Swift only comes in sixth position with “Anti-Hero”.
