It was the CEO of Disney who finally announced it, Taylor Swift : The Eras Tour, the film produced alongside some of its performances and screened in theaters last October, will be available on the streaming platform developed by the company. This news has been awaited since the singer declared on November 27, 2023 on her X account, formerly Twitter: “My birthday (December 13, Editor’s note) is coming up and I thought a nice way to celebrate the year we spent together would be to let you watch The Eras Tour Concert Film at home!”
The Eras Tour is already available online, but it is Disney+ which will now have exclusivity. In this new version of Taylor Swift : The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version), fans will have the opportunity to discover five new tracks that did not appear in the theatrical release, nor in the digital edition, nor on any of his albums. An announcement which therefore comes at just the right time for Swifties, because the singer has just reopened the festivities for the second stage of her tour with the addition of three evenings of shows at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
Taylor Swift: in search of the year 2024, she will be everywhere!
The nearly three-hour film was shot over three nights last summer, during his week-long residency at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. We see the artist cover the biggest titles that have marked his 17-year career. The film will be available from March 15. It will therefore be a foretaste for those who managed to obtain the first sesame and a consolation prize for others whose attempts remained in vain. The superstar will be in concert at Paris La Défense Arena on May 9, 10, 11 and 12.
