Taylor Swift is “very supportive” of Travis Kelce’s acting debut.
The pop superstar, 34, has been dating the footballer, also 34, since July 2023, but after he made a sudden switch to appear in Ryan Murphy’s X-rated series ‘Grotesquerie’ as an as-yet-unnamed character, the TV executive has been full of praise for how Taylor has been by his side throughout it all.
Ryan told E! News: “The only thing I [Travis y yo] “What we talked about was that she’s very supportive of him, and if he was interested in doing this, she wanted him to try it. I was happy with that. I love her too.”
The creator of ‘Glee’ is grateful that Travis was able to give up his limited time to participate in the series – in which a detective and a nun investigate a series of heinous crimes – and that he is a “star” no matter what happens.
He said, “A star is a star and he’s a star. He’s so charismatic, so smart, and so charming. He had time. He asked me to work on something for him. I asked him. It was an honor. He knew everybody’s lines. He had great discipline, and he’s everything you want him to be. He’s a leader, and so sweet and charming, first one on set, last one to leave, great crew around him. He went into this knowing it was going to be a little scary, and it was for him. One day, I rewrote an entire scene that I wasn’t liking, and he memorized it in 10 minutes, just like that. It was letter perfect. He’s very, very smart, and he’s got something important.”
Ryan is even confident that the Kansas City Chiefs player has what it takes to make it big in Hollywood as a movie star.
He said: “If Travis Kelce wants to be a big movie star, he could do it. You can see in the show that he can act. And he’s talented.”
