Taylor Swift picked up six awards at the American Music Awards (AMA) in Los Angeles on Sunday night. This made her the big winner of the night. Among other things, the singer won an award for artist of the year, best video and best female pop artist.
Swift now owns as many as forty American Music Awards. The singer holds the record for the most AMAs since 2019 already in hand. Michael Jackson (26 awards) and Whitney Houston (22 awards) round out the top three.
Beyoncé was also able to add a slew of American Music Awards to her collection on Sunday. She won three, all in the R&B categories for Best Female Artist, Best Album and Best Song.
Bad Bunny, BTS, Kendrick Lamar, Harry Styles and Morgan Wallen took home two awards.
