Taylor Swift kicked off her long-awaited Eras Tour by plunging headfirst into the void of the stage during the opening concerts in Arizona.
A video of this seemingly physics-defying stunt currently has millions of views on Twitter and TikTok, with many onlookers hailing its Michael Phelps-like form.
The clip begins innocuously enough with the singer walking around the stage in a green dress towards the end of her show. Then, suddenly, the 33-year-old star plunges headfirst into a hole in the stage, as a splash effect sounds.
The scene caused a stir with fans. One took to Twitter: “Excuse me, TAYLOR SWIFT just dove headfirst into the scene.” “That dive is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen, I was so caught off guard “, exclaimed another.
Others feared for the “Bad Blood” singer’s safety.
The US Eras Tour will continue until August 9 in Los Angeles, while international dates have yet to be announced.
