Taylor Moore set to join Valenciennes in Ligue 2: Latest transfer news

Seven years after his departure from Lens, Taylor Moore could find the Ligue 2 and Hauts de France soon. Returned to Great Britain, on his native island, the defender should soon join Valenciennes according to information from The voice of the North. The player was present in Niljen (Belgium) on Saturday to attend the VA match against Union Saint-Gilloise (0-1).

Gambardella Cup finalist with Lens in 2016, Moore had appeared in the first team for a few appearances in Ligue 1 then in Ligue 2 with the Sang & Or. He has since sailed between the Championship (English L2) and League Two (L4) with a spell in the Scottish first division. Free of any contract, he played last season at Shrewsbury Town (League One) where he was a regular starter.

Furthermore, the Voice of the North indicates that Jean Louchet, goalkeeper who appeared with Niort at the end of last season, could also join the club. Spotted in the camp opposite during the friendly match of the VAFC against the trainees of the UNFP last week, the player defended the northern cages in the second half on Saturday, as part of a trial.
