Taylor Hawkins has performed with the Foo Fighters for over 20 years. He joined the band shortly after the release of the album “The Color and the Shape” in 1997, less than three years after the group’s founding. He replaced William Goldsmith in this role, who reportedly left the band due to an argument with Dave Grohl (the founder of the band and a member of the cult band Nirvana).

As reported by Reutersfrom the Attorney General’s report Colombia preliminary analysis, including toxicology tests, revealed 10 types of substances, including THC (which is found in marijuana), tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines, and opioids. However, the amount of these substances in the body of Taylor Hawkins has not been determined. It was stipulated that the investigation into the case was still ongoing, and the cause of death of the 50-year-old music not yet known.

The band announced the death of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins on Saturday, March 26 in the morning of Polish time. An ambulance was sent to the hotel where it was located the manright after the emergency number reported that the man had severe chest pain. Hawkins, however, did not respond to CPR and was presumed dead, reports Reuters.
“The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and premature loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins. His musical soul and contagious laughter will live with all of us forever,” reads a statement posted Saturday on Foo Fighters’ Twitter account.
