There are three months left until the start of the Mexican Tennis Open and the tournament added the American Taylor Fritz to its list, who was the revelation of the season.
“Fritz joins in. He was runner-up in Turin in the ATP finals, rising to fourth place in the ranking; So, we already have three confirmed tennis players who are within the Top 10,” said Álvaro Falla, director of the AMT, in an exclusive interview with EL UNIVERSAL Deportes.
The manager also revealed that “Frances Tiafoe will come and this will make it possible to have the best team of Americans,” because Ben Shelton and Tommy Paul previously confirmed their participation.
Falla highlighted that Fritz is in the best moment of his career. This year, he was crowned in Eastbourne and Delray Beach, he was runner-up in the US Open and the ATP Finals, so he will contribute to the spectacle of the tournament.
