Late on Friday evening (27th), a 25-year-old taxi driver was the victim of a robbery in Darmstadt.

After the 25-year-old had previously driven passengers from Frankfurt to Darmstadt in Goethestrasse, he actually wanted to drive back to Frankfurt at 11:15 p.m. After a few hundred meters, however, three male people waved the driver to the edge of the lane, obviously to want to use the services of the chauffeur. While one person was positioned on the driver’s or passenger’s side, the third person got into the taxi on the back seat and suddenly held a knife to the 25-year-old driver’s neck. At the same time, the armed perpetrator demanded that the purse be handed over! After handing over the wallet with several hundred euros in cash, the perpetrators fled in the direction of Heidelberger Strasse.

An immediate search for the three male perpetrators between the ages of 20 and 25 turned out to be negative, the criminal police took over the investigation. More detailed descriptions of the fugitive perpetrators are currently not available.
