Taxi driver pursued by traffic agents finds sanctuary at Asonga Television and reports assault accusations | Royal Equatorial Guinea Magazine

Several taxi drivers and witnesses accompanied a young taxi driver yesterday, March 30, to the Asonga television channel to denounce that he was being abused by some traffic agents.

Shocked, bloodied and injured, this is how the taxi driver arrived at Asonga TV to report an attack of which he has been a victim. Despite taking refuge in the facilities of this television station to flee from their attackers, the traffic agents did not respect the facilities of Asonga Radio and Television and broke into them chasing the taxi driver.

“They want to stop my car, I don’t know why. In fact, I resisted and he hit me in the face with some object, “said the young man attacked, a blow that apparently caused his entire face to be soaked in blood.

Neither the blood nor the Asonga facilities were reasons to stop the persecution of this citizen, since they followed him and took him out of the aforementioned facilities. A witness assures that they barely gave the victim time to park his vehicle and they proceeded directly to take the vehicle keys with violence included.

At the initial scene of the event, the agents, seeing that the taxi driver was already bleeding, wanted to take him to the hospital, something that did not happen, because the victim took the Asonga route to be able to report the mistreatment received.
