A pedestrian was seriously injured on Friday night in a collision at the crossing in front of the central station in Tilburg. The 22-year-old man from Delft was hit by a taxi driver around half past two.
Due to the seriousness of the situation, two ambulances and an air ambulance were called. The victim was rushed to a hospital. A police spokesperson has reported the man ‘serious injuries’.

Officers closed the Spoorlaan near the Noordhoekring to traffic to investigate. The taxi driver had no passengers in the car at the time of the collision.
