The price of gas explodes
The Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) announced a 9.96% tax-free increase in the regulated gas tariff in July. In June, the increase had already been 4.4%. This strong increase is mainly due (for 7.8%) to the rise in gas prices on the world market linked to the economic recovery, knowing that 99% of the gas consumed in France is imported. It is also due for more than 2% of the participation of gas in favor of energy transition (EWC system), explains CRE in a press release.

A new DPE for housing
The Energy Performance Diagnosis (DPE) has been redesigned: the calculation method is now eliminated the reference to energy consumption on the basis of past invoices to rely on the physical characteristics of housing such as the construction, the quality of the insulation, the type of windows or the heating system, specifies the minister.
