Tax phone unreachable since yesterday morning

ANP extension

ANNOUNCEMENTSEdited

The Tax Information Line and other Tax and Customs Administration service numbers have been unreachable since yesterday morning. This is due to a “regular update” of the system over the weekend, says a spokesperson. It was determined on Sunday evening that something had gone wrong.

The system then received a new update on Sunday night. It was not completed on Monday morning. As a result, employees couldn’t access the information they needed to answer questions. The people who called were then asked to try again later.

After the update was completed last night, a new problem has surfaced. Incoming calls were no longer evenly distributed among available employees. “We are doing everything we can to resolve it today, but we have no certainties about it,” says the spokesperson.

Service personnel can call outside. People who have urgent questions can leave a callback request on the site. They will then be helped as soon as possible, the service says.

The service answers questions from many thousands of callers on regular days.
