Tax Audit Reveals Undeclared Revenues of €1.5 Million: False Tax Declaration Investigation in Parma

The soldiers of the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Parma carried out a tax audit of a company active in the production as well as the wholesale and retail sale of fruit and vegetables.

The inspection activity, conducted by the Parma Group, affected the tax periods from 2016 to 2021 during which the controlled company which has its operational headquarters in the city also carried out the purchase and sale of cars and the trade to the detail of tobaccos and monopoly genders.
Preliminary investigations have made it possible to detect the failure to declare taxes for the year 2016 by the owner of the sole proprietorship as well as an inconsistency between the tax declarations and his spending capacity, with particular
reference to the purchase of four properties and a luxury Porsche 997 car, the acquisition of a company holding a license for the sale of tobacco products as well as the financial leasing of a Ferrari F142.
The subsequent investigations were also carried out through financial investigations which made it possible to reconstruct a much larger turnover than what was declared to the Treasury.

In particular, as a result of the tax audit activities, undeclared revenues of more than €1,500,000.00 and evaded VAT of over €330,000.00 were reconstructed, also deriving from the sale of cars without invoicing them.

In conclusion, the entrepreneur was referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Parma
for the crime of false tax declaration.
