Taufik Hidayat guest on Anders Antonsen and Hans-Kristian Solberg Vittinghus’ podcast, The Badminton Experience. As is known, the podcast reviews the world of badminton which is guided by the two Danish players.
Taufik Hidayat is certainly a special guest. Taufik is an Indonesian badminton legend who is recognized by the world and has become an idol.

One long-awaited question, who is the best men’s singles badminton in the eyes of today? Taufik Hidayat?
“Momota’s power is lacking, now it’s decreasing because of frequent injuries. Viko Axelsen is the most complete,” he explained.
Taufik Hidayat then mentioned an Indonesian player. He is Anthony Sinisuka Ginting!
“Ginting sorry to say, his mentality sometimes goes up and sometimes down. If the technique is good,” he said.
Anthony Ginting is now ranked sixth in the BWF world. Ginting is still behind Viktor Axelsen and Kento Momota at number one and two.
Ginting is also behind Anders Antonsen in third place, then Chou Tien-chen and Lee Zii Jia. In the top 10, there is still an Indonesian badminton player, Jonatan Christie, who is currently in eighth place.
Anthony Ginting now 25 years old. He has won several titles such as the bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, the Thomas Cup, and the Badminton Asia Championships.
