Tatyana Georgievna’s son believes that she is developing dementia. Tatyana Konyukhova will turn 92 in November. The actress starred in cult films of her time, but her VGIK course was considered unlucky. A terrible fate awaited almost all graduates. Who committed suicide, who boiled alive in the bath, who died of hunger and alcoholism. The pestilence began back in the student years, when novice actors buzzed along with the son of Isaac Dunayevsky, then they decided to ride at night on his Pobeda and got into an accident in which one of the students died.
So Konyukhova, one might say, was lucky. Even though she doesn’t think so. In recent years, the actress has increasingly voiced long-standing grievances. Like, she was betrayed too often by both directors and lovers. It was Konyukhova who could star in “Carnival Night” instead of Gurchenko and in “The Cranes Are Flying” instead of Samoilova. But she herself refused these roles, because she did not want to let down Grigory Roshal, who approved her in The Passage. Something went wrong with the director, he did not start the picture in any way. Konyukhova honestly waited and refused cool roles. As a result, when the shooting began, the role of Dasha Roshal took his new passion.

The first marriage was unsuccessful. The husband was a terribly jealous man and one day, when young Tatyana was on the set, he thought of dropping into the hotel early in the morning, and even with witnesses: giggling maids peeking over their shoulders. She lived with him for 27 years, but in 1986 Kuznetsov burned out from cancer.
After that, the actress devoted herself to her only son Sergei. He married early, so the actress supported a young family, and then helped with her granddaughter. Now Sergey helps his mother. Tatyana Georgievna has not even answered the phone lately. According to her neighbor Larisa Luzhina, her son forbade her mother to communicate with strangers.
“Sergei believes that his mother began to talk nonsense and that she has dementia,” said Luzhina.
