What good is “The Cold House”? The new “crime scene” with the investigators from Dresden in a quick check.
The plot in two sentences The Internet psychologist Kathrin Fischer has disappeared – the only trace: a lot of blood at home. Does her husband Simon Fischer, who is very deranged, have something to do with it?

Domestic Violence “How often does a husband in Germany try to kill his wife?” asks Inspector Gorniak. Colleague Winkler knows: “Every day. And every third day with success.”
Party! Impromptu birthday party for the detective at the scene of the crime between lots of blood, while the missing person’s husband is sitting in the patrol car. You have to want that.
Now it’s gendered! An episode that lived from the gut feeling of everyone involved. “You have intuition. That’s what makes a good investigator,” praises the boss. Gorniak: “Investigator!”
Schnabel Of course, Martin Brambach, as head of the police department Peter Michael Schnabel, plays the role of the actually good-hearted choleric in exactly the same way in every episode: But he just can do it.
Our conclusion An impressively ambivalent way of tackling the issue of domestic violence with dignity and urgency.
