Tatiana Navka – one of the main characters in our figure skating. The Olympic champion of Turin, together with Tatyana Tarasova and Elena Isinbaeva, works on the jury in absolutely all issues of the Ice Age, and on New Year’s holidays she will repeat two of her shows in Moscow – Ruslan and Lyudmila and The Sleeping Beauty. Legend of the Two Kingdoms ”.
On the set of the next issue of the project, Navka found time to talk to Sport24 correspondent Konstantin Lesik and answer questions about her show and Zagitova’s progress as a host.
– Recently it became known that Alina Zagitova will again take part in your show “Sleeping Beauty”. Was it difficult to agree?
– Alinochka Zagitova is a member of our big family. Naturally, she immediately responded to our proposal. And she accepted it.
– Aren’t you afraid for the show because of the difficult situation with the virus?
– Of course, as we all know, this year we have a difficult epidemiological situation. And there will be very few ice shows for the New Year holidays. And to be honest, we are also a little worried about the audience. But I am still convinced and hope that everything will be fine. Many have already been ill, and vaccinations will begin soon.
The situation in the whole world is now difficult – it is impossible to go somewhere, and Russian resorts, like Sochi, are not rubber. Therefore, many will stay in Moscow, where our shows will take place.
For our part, we promise to provide all the conditions for security in the hall. We have already thought through all the organizational points. Therefore, we are waiting for the audience to visit us on New Year’s holidays. We will repeat the good old fairy tales that we have already done. After all, many people did not have time to see them – someone was leaving, someone simply did not get there. Now everyone has a unique opportunity to see our productions again.
– Have you already started to prepare?
– Yes, of course, preparations have begun. Alina Zagitova is training, and we are all slowly getting into optimal shape. We haven’t skated since January 8th. Now we need to seriously prepare.
– The role of Alina in The Sleeping Beauty was for her one of the first big stage experiences. Since last January, Zagitova has increasingly flickered on screens and even became a TV presenter. Do you see her progress?
– Of course, she manages to add from release to release. In my opinion, with each program, she makes confident steps forward, looks better and better.
Alina is a great fellow who took on this difficult role. She is only 18 years old – a girl who has never encountered this. Her progress in the leading role once again shows that she is still an Olympic champion who is not afraid of anything. I am sure that by the end of the project it will only gain momentum. And she will be an excellent presenter for more than one year.

“What, my dear?” – Navka addresses the Olympic champion, and then continues to give interviews, slightly increasing the volume so that the host of the “Ice Age” could hear.
“And Alexey Yagudin is simply an unrealistically tough partner who helps Alina Zagitova to become better and better with each program,” Tatiana finished our conversation.
