Jakarta –
Tata Punch EV electric car was caught on camera again being tested on a highway in India. This will most likely be the last test before launch next month.
The Tata Punch EV that was caught on road testing is a production version that has been prepared for the last few months. Previously, the initial version of the vehicle was also available in India with more or less the same camouflage stickers.
Obtained from Carwale and Hindustantimes, through recognizable details, the appearance of the Tata Punch EV is still the same as the regular version. However, there are several things that make it different, starting from the headlights, grille and the addition of a charging socket in the face area.

Apart from that, there is news that the Tata Punch EV will get blue accents all over the body which strengthens the electrified feel of the vehicle.
The Tata Punch EV will use the Tata Motors Gen 2 Sigma platform which is claimed to be more comfortable for electric vehicles than the ALFA platform. Although there is no definite information yet, it is predicted that the non-emission car will use a 30 kWh battery with a maximum range of 350 kilometers.
Interestingly, there is a possibility that the company will bring a more affordable version with a lower battery capacity. Meanwhile, there are no leaks regarding the vehicle’s power and torque.

The Tata Punch EV is predicted to use disc brakes on all wheels, an entertainment system with a 10.25 inch touch screen connected to Arcade.ev, a fully digital instrument cluster, and much more.
According to news circulating, the Tata Punch EV will be priced starting at IDR 220 million and will compete directly with the Citroen eC3. This vehicle will be the cheapest electric car ever marketed in India.
