It is lawyer Morgan Moller who made the discovery (for the sake of completeness) in the Royal Decree establishing the admissibility conditions, the deadlines and the practical modalities for price fixing requests, price increase requests, price notifications and (price) notifications of medicines, with medicines assimilated objects, devices and substances, and raw materials, as referred to in Book V of the Code of Economic Law.
A royal decree from 2014, but Article 13 of which was amended last month. Something must have gone wrong when that adaptation was published, at least in the French version. Paragraph 9 is suddenly interrupted with a recipe for asparagus au gratin, in six stages. “Bon appétit”, reads the sixth stage.
“I’ve never encountered this hilarity in my legal career,” Moller said on Twitter. The version that Moller shows in his tweet seems to have been adjusted in the meantime. But in the consolidated PDF version we can still read how to preheat the oven to 250 degrees as a first step.
So perhaps someone at the Belgian Official Gazette will have a copy-paste– have made a mistake, also thinks a lawyer who contacted our editors. “It was fortunate that the person concerned was only busy with recipes and not with porn websites,” he adds with a joke.
