The volunteers of the Teletón Children’s Hospital of Oncology (HITO) invited the Querétaro society to participate in the ninth edition of the event “Tasting the Art” which aims raise funds to benefit the patients of this medical center.
This edition will take place next Thursday, October 26 at 7:00 p.m. in the Founders Room of the Querétaro Country Club.
During the event the auction of various works of art from Querétaro authors with a consolidated career, and you will be able to enjoy a careful selection of dishes that will be accompanied by wines from the Freixenet houseas well as liquors, cocktails and tequilas from Grupo Cuervo, companies that have supported the auction, officially sponsored by Maestro Dobel.
Likewise, there will be the participation of a show by Andreas Zanetti who has prepared a humorous musical number so that attendees have an unforgettable evening.
For this edition It is expected to raise one million 500 thousand pesos, after last year a sum of one million 200 thousand pesos was achieved. The works that will be auctioned are, for the most part, unpublished and created especially for this auction, by artists such as Luis Selem, Santiago Carbonell, Víctor Calderón, Marcela Herbert, Fernando Garrido, Ramsés de la Cruz, Fernando Andriacci, Jordí Boldó, Luis Filcer , Raúl Campos, Enrique Oroz, Marielle García, Moisés Cervantes, Jesús Cuevas, Édgar Vázquez, Manuel Lomelí, Manuel Miguel, Diana Gálvez, Alberto Medina, among others, as well as some pictures of the children who receive care at the HITO. The number that will be auctioned is more than 200 works.
Rosalía Sandoval, deputy director of HITO Volunteering, thanked the attendees and invited Queretaro residents in general to “this festival of generosity.” “The idea of this great party is to bring together the entire Querétaro society, which has always joined this great project that is the HITO.
