Tourists from Belarus can make a culinary journey through Russia without leaving the capital: from July 7 to 16, Moscow will host the Tastes of Russia gastronomic festival. Kazan pilaf with chicken, Ryazan kurnik, Nizhny Novgorod okroshka are just a few of the delicacies that can be tasted at the festival.
At the event, you can not only enjoy delicious dishes of Russian cuisine, but also learn how to cook them, so that later you can impress your loved ones with new tastes and skills. Ancient recipes will be revealed to everyone as part of master classes; the festival program includes 550 master classes and culinary shows for every taste.
At the fair, which will run all days of the festival, you can find rare goods: Stavropol apples, Dagestan lamb, Tomsk cedar milk, Altai cheeses, Murmansk crab and much more. More than 300 manufacturers from 70 regions of Russia will present their products.
The kids won’t be bored either. In the “School of a young farmer” they will be taught the basics of beekeeping, vegetable growing and cheese making. Also, those who wish will be able to practice painting real Tula gingerbread. In addition, all days of the festival, songs and dances of the peoples of Russia will be performed on Manezhnaya Square. For example, you can hear the unique mesmerizing sounds of the Khakass khomus.
Guests of the festival from Belarus will be able to taste unique treats at 25 venues throughout the city, the main of which will be Manezhnaya Square. The event is one of many events within the framework of the Moscow Seasons project, which introduces tourists from different countries to the culture and history of Russia.
