Tasos Hatzigiovanis scored a career goal in the match between Ankaragutsou and Fenerbahce. The 26-year-old international winger took the ball between midfield and his team’s penalty area, covered around 60 meters and fired the ball into the right corner of the Fener keeper to make it two goals for his side.

The former Panathinaikos footballer celebrated his goal furiously, with the Ankaragutsu players becoming a tangle in the corner. In the end, the hosts completed the surprise and with the 3-0 against the favorite Fenerbahce, sealed their presence in the semi-finals of the Turkish Cup.
Hatzigiovanis has played 26 times this year, scoring two goals and providing five assists for Ankaragoutsou, who have built a ‘village’ of footballers who have played in Greece before, including Stelios Kitsiou, Federico Makeda and Gary Rodriguez.
