On Monday, it’s time for Apple to unveil this fall’s new operating system, including the iPad OS 16.
According to Bloombergs Apple-expert Mark Gurman the focus of the new system is on making the iPad a bit more like a Mac.
For example, it should be possible to resize windows, a feature that has been in demand by users for a long time.
In addition, it will be much easier to see which apps are running and switch between different tasks.
Since the first version of the iPad OS was released in 2019, the operating system has gradually approached the Mac OS, something that is a conscious strategy on Apple’s part. However, it is likely to be a long time before there can be talk of a merger of the two systems.
