Finding the right interim manager takes three steps:

1. Define the mandate

The tasks and objectives of your future interim manager are precisely defined. This is the only way to check later if the interim manager met your requirements.

Determine the following points:

  • What tasks will the interim manager take on?
  • For which areas does it take full or partial responsibility?
  • What qualitative and quantitative objectives must be achieved by when?
  • What qualifications and experience should the suitable candidate have?

  • What is the salary or compensation?
  • Is there a bonus for success?
  • What then is the prize?

2. Select the candidate

3. Sign a contract

Contracts with interim suppliers or managers are always concluded for a limited period. The notice period is usually 14 days so that companies remain flexible.

Contractually guarantee the option to hire the interim manager. This is possible if both the company and the interim manager potentially want permanent employment.
