The worrying rebound of the epidemic led the prefect of Tarn-et-Garonne to take new restrictive measures for the inhabitants. It thus prohibits all gatherings of more than 30 people in all establishments open to the public (ERP). Wedding celebrations, family reunions or between young people will have to be postponed.
However, the measure does not concern civil ceremonies in town halls and religious ceremonies in places of worship. Other types of gatherings, such as associative or professional events, can be maintained, in strict compliance with the planned health rules, under the responsibility of the organizers. The measure also does not apply to restaurants or bars.

From this Thursday, October 1 and until at least October 15, the wearing of the mask outdoors, which was already compulsory in the heart of the city of Montauban, will be extended to the entire city, except in the hamlets.
From tomorrow morning, you will also have to wear the mask, compulsorily, in Castelsarrasin, Moissac and Valence d’Agen, from 8 am to midnight. Other measures should be announced during the day by the prefecture of Tarn-et-Garonne.
The key figures to assess the progress of the pandemic are particularly worrying. The incidence rate (number of new contaminations reported to 100,000 inhabitants over a period of 7 days) crossed the 100 mark on Sunday. Even if it recorded a slight decline yesterday, to 94.8, the health situation remains sensitive. The positivity rate is now 7.3.
