Tarn-et-Garonne: a man fatally hit by a TGV in Malause, traffic interrupted

A man was hit by a TGV in Malause, Tarn-et-Garonne, in the early afternoon this Friday March 19. The circumstances are still unknown. Rail traffic should remain interrupted between Agen, Montauban and Toulouse until the end of the afternoon.

It is a tragic event, with still undetermined circumstances, which paralyzes rail traffic between Agen (Lot-et-Garonne) and Montauban (Tarn-et-Garonne), this Friday, March 19 in the afternoon. A TGV has indeed struck a man on the railway, without being able to brake in time.

The medical teams and the firefighters could only note the death of the individual on their arrival. The identity and age of the victim are currently unknown.

Following the accident, traffic was at a standstill between these two stations. A replacement coach is put in place to allow passengers to continue their journey. However, delays of 20 minutes to several hours are announced. At Moissac station, all trains are canceled until the end of the afternoon.
