The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Association punished Egyptian Tariq Hamed, the player of the Al-Ittihad first football team, with a one-match suspension and a fine of 10,000 riyals, on the grounds that he committed unsportsmanlike behavior during his team’s match against Al-Fayhaa in the quarter-finals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup.
And the committee revealed, in a statement on the Saudi Football Association website, that the decision came after it was proven that the Egyptian player had violated Article “48-2-1” of the Disciplinary and Ethics Regulations, according to what was shown by the official carrier, stressing that the decision is not subject to appeal in accordance with Article “139”. from the list.
The committee indicated that the suspension of Tariq Hamed will be in all official matches in which he is entitled to participate.
The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee also fined Sultan Azhar, president of Al-Wehda Club, and Brazilian defender Mauricio Antonio, the subcontractor, with an amount of 20 thousand riyals each for entering the dressing rooms of their two teams, while they were not registered in the two lists during the match that brought them together in the quarter-final round of the King’s Cup.
