In the series “Umm Kulthum”, written by the late writer Mahfouz Abdel Rahman, and directed by Anam Muhammad Ali, Khaled Saleh presented the character of the late poet Mamoun El-Shenawy, while Tariq Abdel Aziz presented the character of the writer Kamel El-Shenawy, who both had strong ties to the planet of the East, Umm Kulthum.

Two years ago, Tariq Abdel Aziz published a scene from the Umm Kulthum series that brought him together with the late Khaled Saleh, in which they talk about death and pessimism, where Mamoun says to his brother Kamel, “No one knows that you hate the night that’s why you stay up all night,” to which Kamel responds: “I don’t hate the night, I hate it.” Sleeping with the feeling that if I sleep, I will die.” Mamoun replied: “No, we all have to sleep, Kamel, and death must come alone,” so Kamel concluded the conversation: “No more about this biography and the life of your father.”

The short dialogue between the two brothers expressed the outlook of both Maamoun El-Shenawy and Kamel El-Shenawy on life, and the difference between their viewpoints of pessimism and optimism in life, but the irony is that the two stars left our world at the height of their brilliance due to illness.

The artist Tariq Abdel Aziz passed away from our world yesterday, Sunday, after the health crisis that befell him recently, as he was suffering from another crisis last June, and he underwent a heart catheterization, and one of his last works was his participation in the series “Do Any,” which was shown before. The Ramadan Race, in the role of Shawqi the Lawyer, and starring Khaled Al-Sawy, Sabreen, Hanaa Al-Shorbaji, Nada Bassiouni, composed by Al-Mahdi, and other artists, written by Muhammad Al-Hanawi, and directed by Ahmed Abdel Hamid.
