Darmstadt (dpa / lhe) – In the 1st three months of ADAC roadside aid for bicycles or pedelecs, rescuers counted 2,500 calls nationwide. In Hesse by itself, there ended up currently 200 of them. ADAC has been giving the provider nationwide since 1 June. Rescuers have been specifically qualified to operate on bicycles and now have the vital tools in their vehicles.
In eleven cities nationwide, rescuers appear themselves with pedelecs, i.e. bicycles with an electric help motor. They have all the things they require to restore a vehicle or bicycle in a trailer weighing 78 kilograms. According to the ADAC, there are bicycle rescue assistants in Darmstadt, Saarbrücken, Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne, Münster, Freiburg, Dresden, Bonn, Munich and Nuremberg.
