Tarek Saab denies alleged WhatsApp chains of the Public Ministry on alcabalas

Caracas.– Tarek Willam Saab, attorney general of the government of Nicolás Maduro, warned this Tuesday, June 29, that the Public Ministry has not issued any information about the alcabalas or checkpoints in some areas of the country.

Through his official Twitter account @TarekWiliamSaab he made reference to alleged chains disseminated on WhatsApp, under anonymity, which contains a text with the heading of the Attorney General’s Office.

“The statements issued by our institution are published by official and public media,” said Saab, who also attached an image of the alleged statement that invites state officials to denounce.
