The soap opera of the company Tarbes Industry continues and does not end. The company is now at a standstill. Employees worried by the turn of events have just made public a letter sent on April 22 to the Prefect of the Hautes Pyrénées, to the Government Commissioner, to the industry advisor to the Minister of the Armed Forces and to the interministerial delegate for company restructuring.

First of all, we confirm that to our knowledge and contrary to what Mr. Supplisson said to Mr. Gibot, the order for a train of inductors for the driver has not been placed. the information we gave you yesterday on maintenance issues. It is becoming more and more evident every day that our factory will undoubtedly be shut down for a longer period than that initially planned, so probably more than 4 weeks. A period of shutdown and repair costs that will not fail to weigh heavily on the operating account of the company.
Mr. Supplisson, for his part, more concerned with new takeovers (still with the same scenario of a minimal contribution from Samfi Invest) did not even deign to take an interest in the situation during the extraordinary CSE on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. No, he prefers to be interested in the takeover of the Vallourec site in Déville les Rouen where he also suggests that the Tarbes Industry site is now doomed and that its productions will be transferred to Déville les Rouen on the heat treatment part before to take an interest in the stationery at La Chapelle d’Arblay. So where are the equity contributions promised on February 12 by Mr. Supplisson during the round table organized by the Prefect? It appears more and more clearly that the absence of investments despite the commitments of the shareholder leader before the commercial court and all the public authorities at length of meetings and round tables puts the survival of the company in danger.
For us, it is every day more obvious that the manager of the company leaves our site to the abandonment and we do not understand that the public authorities can still grant him credit if we refer to the sum of commitments not held and inversely proportional to his financial involvement in the company (2000 € to date, a real shame). Regarding the takeover strategy of Samfi Invest and Mr. Supllisson we do not rule out, in the light of the actions of Mr. Supplisson on the Alpine Aluminum site in Haute Savoie (Prud’hommal trial to come start May to which will be added the trial for embezzlement of public funds and illegal taking of interests of Mr. Supplisson on July 7, 2021), we in no way rule out the desire of Mr. Supplisson to carry out a real estate or financial transaction by now using the pretext of the difficulties encountered by the industrial tool which it has knowingly abandoned. This is why we ask you to kindly engage a domain expertise (France Domaine) which allows to objectively enhance the land and real estate value of the site. It is urgent that the public authorities which are engaged in the search for an industrial buyer go to the end of the logic which is essential.
Mr. Prefect, if we have taken note of your proposal for a round table in mid-May and thank you for it, we consider that today there is absolute urgency to ensure the future of our industrial site and our jobs. The Minister of the Armed Forces had declared publicly that it was advisable to inform her of any difficulties or any problems concerning our company which she considered to be strategic because of its production. This is therefore what we will do on Monday, just as we will once again refer the matter to the President of the National Defense Commission and the deputies who make up this commission. Finally, we will express ourselves publicly very quickly on the situation we are experiencing. We have had enough of the broken promises and contempt for employees expressed by this shareholder.
