Tarbes: Science festival and head in the stars this Saturday at Enit

For the first time, ENIT is organizing the Fête de la Science in its premises on Saturday 9 October from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This event intended for the general public aims to promote sharing and exchanges between researchers and citizens, to educate young people about science and scientific careers. Teachers and teacher-researchers will offer participatory workshops to discover their fields of activity: 3D printing, virtual reality, robotics, manufacturing under digital coding, computer coding, etc.

This event is organized in partnership with the Production Engineering Research Laboratory, Agromat, Technacol and Science in Bigorre which is organizing the Hautes-Pyrénées Science Village on the same day on the ENIT campus. Visitors will therefore be able to discover different scientific disciplines. The health pass will be required for visitors over 12 years old.

At the end of the day, the operation “Day by night” will take over. From 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m., tales about the night will be offered by La Ligue de l’Enseignement, on the La Gespe football field, where astronomical observations will also take place by UPS in Space, from 10 p.m. In the meantime, a conference on light pollution by OMP will be held in the large amphitheater of the Enit at 8 p.m. Free events.
