Defender of Dynamo Kyiv Taras Mikhavko after the match of the 19th round of the Ukrainian Championship with Odessa Chernomorets (1:0) shared his impressions of this match.

— The game was quite difficult, we had a good opponent today, so not everything worked out. We understood that it would be a difficult game, so we gave our all 100%. We capitalized on our chance, scored a goal, and could have scored more, but it didn’t work out. The main thing is that we endured and played to zero from behind, so everything is fine.
— How difficult was it for you to act against the Chernomorets forward?
— A strong striker, but we analyzed his actions together with the coaching staff. It was not easy with him, but not impossible. We understood his playing style, prepared well, and did not allow him to excel today.
— Today was not your first match, were you less worried than last time?
– Of course, less. I gained confidence in the first game, so I was less worried. Everything is fine.
— How often do fans recognize you on the street?
– It happens sometimes.
— How was it for you to play in the presence of fans in the stands?
“I didn’t have to play without them, but the atmosphere in the stadium was wonderful, I felt like the fans supported us. We are very happy about this and thank the fans, and especially the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to play football with the support of spectators.
— What did the coach say after the match? How did you evaluate the actions of the defenders and the team as a whole?
— I haven’t evaluated anyone yet, I just congratulated everyone on their victory and told them to get ready for the next fight. When the game is analyzed, then we will analyze everyone’s actions.
— Dynamo played two matches after the winter break in Kyiv, the next one will be away, what do you expect from the meeting with Veres?
— We prepare for each game, as always, in a good mood, only setting ourselves up for a positive result. Nothing special.
